Factors  that might kill your website ranking!

I was in a visit to a friend who is self employed and has a website for more than 4 years and he wasn't happy with its ranking at the search engines results, actually the ranking was deteriorating.

I went immediately to the HTML code for the website pages  and noticed the following:

- He hasn't put the effective keywords in the right place

- He has registered other domain names and put them within the keyword group

After getting the C-panel login details I went through his website pages and found that the content was out of any basic optimization & a lot of missing pages which led to create broken links.

As a consequence, the search engines started to have bad impression about this website based on the visitor's impression and the ranking start deteriorating, you may feel the same when visit a website and when you click on a link or page, the 404 "Not Found" page will popup.

I took couple weeks to just stop the deterioration, knowing that to re-build your website ranking will take very long time its the same comparison between climbing the mountain and falling from the peak.
